If you’re looking for some positive vibes to get you through the week, follow Brazil’s Adelmo Jr. and friends Silvio Oreia, JN Charles, Mario Hermani, Franklin Morales, Charles Starrett, Felipe Oliveira (and more) as they take you skating with them around Adelmo’s hometown Aracaju for a day with the RIDE Channel.

The always smiling Brazilian has been killing it for super long with a characteristic laid back style and signature dreads and a light-footedness that defies belief. Aracaju is on the northeastern coast of Brazil and is known for its unspoiled beaches (like Atalaia), and was originally founded in 1855 to be the State of Sergipe’s capital (it was first a province capital first and then became a state capital in 1889). Known for it’s relatively modern architecture, beautiful Aracaju has a tropical climate with high year round temperatures and humidity.

We start the day off with the crew at the famous public library spot, Biblioteca, and then move on to downtown Aracaju with little hills reminiscent of SF, followed by some night skating in the city’s cultural center and a quick stop for some refreshing sugarcane juice to recharge.

Adelmo and his crew then finishes off the day at a little playground spot by the beach. Aracaju definitely looks like a destination on any skate trip to Brazil! Peep the video and soak up some positive vibes for the weekend.

Adelmo rides for RAS, Freeday, and Diamond.
