Brian Peacock – Full Clip Friday

The stuff Brian Peacock comes up with is seriously tweaked. You’ve already seen his two song last part in Tommy Zhao’s “Something Sinister”, his welcome to DC Shoes (China) part, but now prepare to have your mind blown all over again by the Brian Peacock Show with his Full Clip Friday part filmed at P-Rod’s park. It’s not just his tech wizardry that’s so ridiculous, it’s that he can string the craziest tech combinations together in lines that leave you scratching your head and asking, fakie, switch, nollie or regular? And he definitely has some ridiculous reaction time man! And just for the record, he’s regular.

Brian does the craziest tricks in the most ridiculous lines that just seem out of reach except maybe after a million years of practice. That line with the frontside nosegrind revert on the bench to fakie 360 no-comply on the bank followed by the backside nosegrind nollie bigspin out wins the award for most tricks squeezed into 4 seconds. Sheesh. Brian is seriously on a whole other level. Peep the edit and the ender below! #wizardstatus.

Helas Polo Club Lucas Puig 1Helas Polo Club Lucas Puig

Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the last couple of years, you’ve probably heard of Lucas Puig’s Helas Caps brand. Whether it’s an edit of iPhone clips or VX throwaways, you can bet that every one of their shorts are top notch. The latest Helas Sporting Club edit is again no different, bringing the heat with four and a half minutes of goodness and is filmed primarily around Barcy with a couple of clips from Shanghai. Featuring Lucas Puig, Luypa Sin, Jesus Fernandez, Javier Sarmiento, Thierry Gormit, Marek Zaprazny, Roman Lisivka, Pedro Attenborough, Jose Vivero Diaz, JB Gillet, Max Geronzi, Charles Collet, Stephen Khou, Alex Maison, Kristian Krasimirov, JP Villa and Karl Salah.

Helas Polo Club Luy Pa SinDefinitely super psyched to see footage of Luy Pa Sin ripping, and his pop shove front crook at Plaza Universitat is worth a watch alone. Jesus Fernandez really lights up Sants with a fakie flip crooks, fakie pop shove switch 5-0 180 out followed up with a back 3 down the curb. Now say that again really quick. And if you blink you might miss Javier Sarmiento’s cameo at Sants as well!

We all know that Marek Zaprazny is a beast on the board, and his kickflip over a Jersey barrier off flat followed by a high speed back tail is more than enough of a reminder of that fact.

This whole edit is chock full of amazing skating and definitely proof that in this age of over saturated skateboard media content, sometimes less is more. And of course Lucas closes the video out with a banger! Peep the edit and get hyped already! – HK

Footy Dump: Something Sinister B-Sides/Extras

Something Sinister Stephen Khou 1  Something Sinister Dan Leung 2

The Legion of Sorts crew has been releasing a bunch of amazing B-sides/Extras footy from Tommy Zhao’s “Something Sinister” video(which by the way, if you’ve never heard of that video, which rock have you been living under for the past year?). You all remember how crazy that video was(and with a lineup of Lucas Puig, Dan Leung, Stephen Khou, Jay Meador, Brian Dolle, Mark Del Negro, and Brian Peacock you know it’s gonna come correct). And while it might have been your first introduction to the Brian Peacock Show, you gotta remember that one of Delaware’s finest has been killin’ it for a really long while already(Chill, we’ll get into that in an upcoming post!). We thought we’d put together a handy little compilation of the B-sides for your viewing pleasure, and just so you can realize how ridiculous the actual video is if these are the B-sides. And yes, Dan Leung wins the award for making bailing a handrail look like a trick with the most casual/nonchalant walk down a handrail ever. Shanghai’s skatespots look totally amazing and Shanghai Love Park is a definite spot on our list. Go support independent skate videos!

In no particular order:

Dan Leung’s B-sides.

Jay Meador’s B-sides.
